Nice sandy bottomed stream running through an old train bridge from tracks long since abandoned by the railway. Millbrook's mixed forest offers fun hills and downhill thrills! The small town of Millbrook is a 15 minute drive NorthWest of the city of Peterborough, ON, Canada.

Millbrook Valley Trails are a bit tricky to find due to overgrowth of shrubbery at the sign off of 4th Line/Zion (just beware you will make a left turn at the very next driveway on Left after the sign for 4th Line Theatre. This leads to an ample parking lot for approx 20 vehicles if people park properly and courteously. Note this property also has hiking trails and you may encounter hikers on the MTB trails if they get lost or are new to the trail system (Or connot read the signs that mention these are MTB trails).
Location: Millbrook, ON, Canada off of 4th Line/Zion on Left just past 4th Line Theatre big sign.
Parking: approx. 20 vehicles within reason
Signage: Signs are plentiful and well placed at beginning and end of each trail. Love that they have simple descriptive trail names so you kind of know what to expect and there are QR codes on every sign for you to visit map if needed. They also have printed on these signs if trail is ok to ride in both directions or if one-way only.
Washroom: 1x outhouse style porta-potty
Garbage: 1x garbage bear-safe bin
Picnic area: None. Although a cute little park in the small town of Millbrook is a 5 mins. drive from these trails.
Cell Reception: good cell reception on a 3G phone and a little better reception with a 5G phone. Approx 2 to 3 bars= good; 3 to 4 bars= better
Nearby Bike Shop(s): Not here but in city of Peterborough, ON (approx 20min drive to downtown core) several bike shops with daily on-site mechanics.
Trails I rode and my impressions & opinions: All in all a bunch of fun little trails. Wish there were a lot more kms but you can add lots of kms by doing the Granny Connector to Ganaraska Forest. I just lacked the time and energy that day.
Milly Vanilly= a short nice little non-technical trail to do an easy roll for warm up or cool down or intro to the sport for beginners. There are almost not rocks and roots on this one and it has several fun little rolly bits. Very Green or Purple even. Super easy.
The Itch= easy Green trail with some minor roots and rocks and rides through a pinery in some spots
Station Trail and Grand Trunk= easy Green trails again some minor roots and rocks
Roots Rock Riot and Roots revival= easy Blue trails have many roots (could be very slippery when wet) fun rocky tech bits but lots of flowy sections
Cedar Trail and Founders Keepers= easiest Blue trails here but many roots and rocky bits with lots of flow between semi-tech
Trench Town and Backstage Pass= they rate them Black but I would say they are an easy Blue with some tougher Blue features (Nothing here will catch my breath "OMG! I might get hurt"). You can by-pass ALL of the features quite easily, if you wish to. Lots of really fun berms and rollers downhill to pick up speed if you are a 'speedster'
